Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Sendilly is designed to collect as little as possible:

  • Print-at-home check details stay in your browser: When you fill out a check to print or download, the payer, payee, amount, bank name, routing and account numbers are processed on your device to generate the PDF. We do not send or store those bank details for the print/download flow.
  • Traceability log: When you print or download, we store a minimal, PII-free record: the check's verification ID, your anonymous guest ID, the action, your certification flag, your IP address, and a timestamp. This record contains no routing number, account number, payee, or amount.
  • Emailed checks (optional): If you choose to email a check, that check's details are stored securely so the recipient can view it, and the sender and recipient email addresses are used for delivery. These records auto-expire.
  • Payment information: For paid features, payments are processed securely through PayPal; we do not store your card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security, abuse prevention, and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

  • Generate the check you asked to print, download, or deliver
  • Maintain a traceability record of generated checks to deter and investigate misuse
  • Deliver emailed checks and related notifications
  • Process payments for paid features
  • Protect the service against fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

We take security seriously:

  • Minimize what we hold: The print-at-home flow does not transmit or store your bank details.
  • Encryption: Sensitive fields, where stored (for example for emailed checks), are encrypted at rest.
  • Automatic expiry: Stored/emailed checks auto-expire and are deleted.
  • Restricted access: Stored check data is accessible only via secured server-side access controls, not the public.
  • Secure infrastructure: Hosted on enterprise-grade cloud providers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

  • Service providers: PayPal for payment processing, email service for notifications
  • Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Acceptable Use and Enforcement

Sendilly has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for fraud and unauthorized use.

You may only create a check on an account you own or are authorized to draw on. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Unauthorized accounts: Creating a check on an account you do not own or are not authorized to use
  • Fraud and forgery: Any attempt to deceive, forge, or defraud, including altering a generated check
  • Identity misuse: Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your authorization
  • Abuse: Circumventing usage limits, verification, or security controls

ENFORCEMENT:

  • We maintain traceability records of generated checks (see Section 1)
  • We may refuse service and ban users, devices, and IP addresses without notice for suspected misuse
  • We will cooperate fully with law enforcement and lawful requests, and may share records with authorities when required by law or to prevent harm
  • No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated for violations

By using Sendilly, you certify you are authorized to create the checks you generate and acknowledge that violations may result in immediate termination without refund. See our Terms of Service.
