Terms of Service

Last updated: July 24, 2026

1. What Sendilly Is

Sendilly is self-service software that lets you design and print your own checks on your own printer, or deliver a check you have created. Sendilly is a tool, comparable to accounting or check-printing software. Sendilly does not hold, move, guarantee, or process any funds, is not a bank, and is not a money transmitter. A check is an instruction to your bank; whether and how it clears is determined solely by you, the payee, and the banks involved.

2. Your Certification and Authorized Use

You may only create a check drawn on a bank account that you own or are legally authorized to draw on.

Each time you print, download, email, or otherwise generate a check, you certify that:

  • You are the account holder, or you are authorized to draw checks on that account;
  • The information you entered is accurate and not intended to deceive or defraud anyone;
  • You will use the resulting check only for lawful purposes.

Creating a check on an account you do not own or are not authorized to use, or altering a check to defraud, is illegal and strictly prohibited.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Sendilly to:

  • Create or deliver a check on any account you do not own or are not authorized to draw on;
  • Commit or facilitate fraud, forgery, identity theft, or any other crime;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or authorization;
  • Circumvent usage limits, security controls, verification, or rate limits;
  • Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

4. Verification ID and Anti-Tampering

Every check generated with Sendilly carries a unique verification ID. This ID lets a check be traced to its generation record and, where available, verified.

This document carries a Sendilly verification ID. Altering, obscuring, or removing it revokes your authorization to use this document and renders it unverifiable and non-genuine. Tampering with a check with intent to defraud is a crime under applicable law.

A document presented without a valid, verifiable Sendilly ID is not a genuine Sendilly-generated document, and Sendilly makes no representation as to it.

5. No Warranty; Bank Acceptance

Sendilly is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that a check you print will be accepted by any particular bank, teller, or ATM. Acceptance of a plain-paper check depends on the receiving institution and may require check security paper and magnetic (MICR) toner, which are your responsibility.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sendilly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any losses resulting from a check being rejected, misused, altered, or created without proper authorization. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sendilly and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your checks, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

8. Suspension and Enforcement

  • We may refuse service, suspend, or ban any user, device, or IP address without notice for suspected misuse;
  • We maintain traceability records of generated checks and will cooperate fully with law enforcement and lawful requests;
  • We may modify, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
